With another death by Covid-19, Votuporanga registers 73 new cases of the disease

Municipality has 80 hospitalized people who have already been confirmed with the disease; 35 are in ICU

[email protected] recorded yet another death caused by Covid-19, in addition to 73 new cases of the disease. The data are from the Epidemiological Bulletin this Wednesday (31), prepared by the Municipal Health Secretariat and released by the City Hall.

According to the bulletin, the victim was a 69-year-old woman who had comorbidities (more information about her and her burial in the print edition of this Thursday, 1st, from the newspaper A Cidade).

Thus, Votuporanga totals 232 deaths caused by Covid-19 and 10,343 confirmed cases of the disease since the beginning of the pandemic.

Hospitalized and suspected cases

According to the data in the report, the municipality has 80 hospitalized people who have already been confirmed with the disease. Of these, 35 patients are in severe condition in ICU beds (Intensive Care Unit).

Also according to the bulletin, the municipality has 1,077 suspected cases of the disease and 1,504 votuporanguenses with non-serious symptoms of Covid who are under home monitoring.


The “vaccinometer” in the bulletin showed that Votuporanga applied another 289 doses of the immunizer against Covid-19. Of these, 47 were first doses and 247 were second doses.

Thus, the municipality totals 19,039 doses applied: 14,198 first doses and 4,841 second doses.
