The second dose has already been applied to 5,091,611 people (2.40% of the country’s population) in all states and the Federal District.
In total, 22,712,483 doses were applied across the country.
The information is the result of a partnership of the consortium of press vehicles, formed by G1, O Globo, Extra, O Estadão de S.Paulo, Folha de S.Paulo and UOL. Vaccination data started to be monitored as of January 21.
Total vaccinated, according to governments, and the percentage in relation to the population of the state:
The Butantan Institute reported that, in March, it had already delivered 12.1 million doses of Coronavac. By the end of the month, the forecast is to deliver another 10.6 million vaccines, completing 22.7 million doses combined with the Ministry of Health.
Fiocruz reported that it has already delivered 1.08 million doses of AstraZeneca to the Ministry of Health and that by the end of March it should deliver another 2.8 million vaccines, completing 3.9 million for this month.
The media consortium was formed in June 2020, in response to a decision by President Jair Bolsonaro to restrict access to data on the pandemic on that occasion. The bulletins currently report the number of people killed by coronavirus, the amount of contaminated and the moving average, an indicator according to which it is possible to verify in which states the pandemic of the new coronavirus is increasing, decreasing or in stability.
