The City of Bauru, through the Department of Collective Health, reported the confirmation of fifteen more deaths from coronavirus in the municipality, totaling 604 victims of COVID-19. One death was recorded on 4/1, six on 4/2, three on 4/3 and five yesterday.
The deaths had their investigation completed today 05/04/2021, by the Epidemiological Surveillance.

First death, this is a 74-year-old woman who presented with the onset of symptoms of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 03/23/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 04/01/2021 . The patient was seen by a public service in the city and had diabetes and heart disease. The death occurred on 4/2/2021.

According to death, this is a 64-year-old woman who presented with the onset of symptoms of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 03/16/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 03/17/2021 . The patient was admitted to a public hospital in the city and had diabetes, heart disease and obesity. The death occurred on 4/2/2021.

Third death, this is a 37-year-old man who presented with the onset of symptoms of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 03/19/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 03/25/2021 . The patient was admitted to a private hospital in the city and had hypertension and obesity. The death occurred on 04/01/2021.

Fourth death, this is a 60-year-old man who presented with the onset of symptoms of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 03/09/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 03/23/2021 . The patient was admitted to a private hospital in the city and had diabetes, hypertension and obesity. The death occurred on 4/2/2021.

Fifth death, this is a 56-year-old man who presented with the onset of symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 3/21/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 3/27/2021 . The patient was admitted to a private hospital in the city and had diabetes and hypertension. The death occurred on 04/03/2021.

Sixth death, this is an 80-year-old man who presented with the onset of symptoms of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 03/22/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 03/29/2021 . The patient was admitted to a public service in the city and had cancer. The death occurred on 04/04/2021.

Seventh death, this is an 82-year-old man who presented with the onset of symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 3/8/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 3/16/2021 . The patient was admitted to a public hospital in the city and had asthma and obesity. The death occurred on 04/04/2021.

Eighth death, this is an 82-year-old woman who presented with the onset of symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 3/22/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 3/29/2021 . The patient was admitted to a public hospital in the city and had heart disease. The death occurred on 4/2/2021.

Ninth death, this is a 50-year-old woman who presented with the onset of symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 3/13/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 3/23/2021 . The patient was admitted to a public hospital in the city and had hypertension, diabetes and obesity. The death occurred on 4/2/2021.

Tenth death, this is a 78-year-old man who presented with the onset of symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 3/2/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 3/9/2021 . The patient was admitted to a public hospital in the city and had diabetes and hypertension. The death occurred on 04/04/2021.

Eleventh death, this is an 83-year-old woman, who had symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SRAG) on 03/08/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 03/13 / 2021. The patient was admitted to a private hospital in the city and had heart disease. The death occurred on 4/2/2021.

Twelfth death, this is a 92-year-old woman who presented with the onset of symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 3/19/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 3/20/20 2021. The patient was admitted to a private hospital in the city and had no comorbidities. The death occurred on 04/03/2021.

Thirteenth death, this is a 77-year-old woman who presented with the onset of symptoms of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 03/24/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 03/31 / 2021. The patient was admitted to a public service in the city and had diabetes and chronic kidney disease. The death occurred on 04/03/2021.

Fourteenth death, this is a 65-year-old woman who presented with the onset of symptoms of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 3/25/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 3/31/20 2021. The patient was admitted to a public service in the city and had chronic lung disease. The death occurred on 04/04/2021.

Fifteenth death, this is a 66-year-old woman who presented with the onset of symptoms of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) on 3/16/2021 and the positive result for COVID-19 was released on 3/25/20 2021. The patient was admitted to a private hospital in the city and had no comorbidities. The death occurred on 04/04/2021.

To date, the city accounts for 33,498 confirmed cases of the disease, with 604 deaths.

This Monday, 5th, the PSC has 32 occupied beds, of which 11 patients are waiting for vacancies in the ICU and 8 in the infirmary in state hospitals. Patients receive full support, with medical monitoring, from nurses, medications and exams.

Another 13 patients are undergoing treatment at the PSC, after the accreditation of these beds.
