Sergipe registers 1,040 new cases of covid-19 and five deaths this Sunday

The State Department of Health (SES) publishes this Sunday, 4, the epidemiological bulletin of the coronavirus, with 1,040 cases, five deaths this Sunday and 15 deaths that were under investigation and were confirmed. In Sergipe, 178,301 people have tested positive for Covid-19 and 3,592 have died. To date, 160,100 patients have been cured.

The 20 deaths were: a woman, 80 years old, from Aracaju, with hypertension; a man, 64 years old, from Nossa Senhora do Socorro, with hypertension; a man, 41 years old, from Nossa Senhora do Socorro, without comorbidity; a woman, 45 years old, from Aracaju, hypertension; a man, 66 years old, from Aracaju, with hypertension, diabetes and smoking; a man, 78 years old, from Aracaju, without comorbidity; a man, 49 years old, from Barra dos Coqueiros, without comorbidity; a woman, 67 years old, from São Cristóvão, without comorbidity; a man, 42 years old, from Aracaju, with chronic kidney disease; a man, 67 years old, from Aracaju, without comorbidity; a 68-year-old woman from Aracaju with heart disease; a 56-year-old man from Canindé do São Francisco, with hypertension, diabetes and obesity; a man, 42 years old, from Itabaiana, without comorbidity; a woman, 73 years old, from Itabaiana, with hypertension and diabetes; a man, 83 years old, from Malhador, with hypertension, diabetes and peripheral obstructive arterial disease; a 55-year-old man from Aracaju, with no comorbidity; a woman, 48 years old, from Aracaju, with hypertension; a woman, 63, from Aracaju, with obesity; a 92-year-old woman from Aracaju with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; a man, 70 years old, from São Cristóvão, with hypertension, obesity, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

379,783 exams were performed and 201,482 were negative. 834 patients are hospitalized, with 200 in beds and ICU (adult) in the public service, seven in the neonatal ICU / pediatrics and 189 in clinical beds (ward), totaling 396. In the private service beds, 178 people are admitted to the ICU adult, four in the neonatal ICU / pediatrics and 256 in clinical beds, totaling 438. A further 15 deaths are investigated. 1,349 exams collected are still awaiting results.

The Secretariat has already distributed a total of 225,066 doses of the first shipment to the municipalities, of which 199,145 were applied. Regarding the second dose, 65,590 were distributed, with 52,434 doses being applied.
