The lockdown in Rio Preto ended on March 31 with 87 people fined for circulating without justification through the city. The balance was released this Monday, 5th, by the Municipal Health Department. The fine for these cases is R $ 1,259.00.
Between March 17 and 31 – the period in which the lockdown decree was in effect – 2,676 inspections were carried out in commercial establishments. The action was carried out by the Health Surveillance, in partnership with the Municipal Guard and the Military Police. During this period, according to the Municipality of Rio Preto, 222 assessments were registered, of which 87 were for individuals, due to unjustified circulation.
In a note, the Health Secretariat also informed that 26 establishments were banned. The case records will be judged and may be converted into a fine, which may vary from 5 to 5,000 UFM (from R $ 314.80 to R $ 314,000.00), “depending on the seriousness of the infraction, existence of antecedents, mitigations, aggravations and offender’s economic capacity “.
