Brazil recorded 1,987 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to figures updated by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) and the Ministry of Health on Saturday (3).

According to data from Johns Hopkins University, the new coronavirus has infected more than 129 million people worldwide. The milestone is reached 15 months after its emergence in the Chinese city of Wuhan. The number of deaths by Covid-19 in the world has already exceeded 2.7 million. On the other hand, more than 65 million people have already recovered from the disease globally.
