The PT was immunized in São Bernardo do Campo, in Greater São Paulo, as happened on April 13, when he took the first dose of Coronavac, at a drive-thru vaccination station.
After the immunization, Lula released a video on social networks to reinforce the maintenance of health care after the second dose of the vaccine. “Whoever took the second dose should continue using a mask, they must continue washing by hand, using alcohol gel. You have to keep avoiding agglomerations ”, he said.
As occurred during an interview with a Portuguese television network, the ex-president again asked for a mobilization from developed countries in relation to vaccines against covid-19.
“The vaccine cannot be a good for a company, for a laboratory, it is important that it be a good for humanity. That is why rich countries need to assume the responsibility of producing and distributing vaccines in quantity ”, said Lula, next to the deputy for São Paulo and former Minister of Health Alexandre Padilha (PT).
The PT also again criticized the government of the president Jair Bolsonaro in the conduct of the pandemic, stating that emergency recovery, a credit policy for micro-entrepreneurs and investment in public works would be necessary to generate jobs for a resumption of the economy. “This fight is not just for the government, the opposition, the medical profession. It belongs to the entire Brazilian people, ”said the ex-president.
Lula also said that he was grateful to have the vaccine and expressed solidarity with the victims of the covid-19 and health professionals.
