The first death was that of Allef, 25, who happened on March 7. On the 20th of the same month, his brother, Ademilson, 34, died. On Tuesday (30), the boys’ mother, Maria Áurea Oliveira, 67, died. Adeílton, 39, was the older brother.
“He was admitted to the Hospital do Tricentenário [em Olinda], because he was short of breath and needed to be intubated. The funeral should take place at 3 pm “, said Adeílton’s wife, Adriana Cleuza Ferreira.
Adeílton’s burial will take place at the Common Space Peace Cemetery, in Macaparana. Distant 121 kilometers from the capital of Pernambuco, the city has about 25 thousand inhabitants and no ICU for Covid. In the municipality, until Friday (3), 817 cases and 14 deaths were registered.
Adeílton leaves, in addition to his wife, two children, one 15 years old and another 4 years old. The deaths happened without the relatives being able to receive information about the other, since they were all intubated when the deaths occurred.
According to Adriana, the husband contracted the new coronavirus with his mother, who must catch the disease with her two other children.
“They were very connected. One day, the mother, who must have caught the disease with the other two children, became ill and my husband went to provide help. That was when he got infected “, he said.
Pernambuco confirmed, this Saturday (3), 985 more cases of Covid-19 and 54 new deaths of patients who had the disease. With the new records, the total number of infected patients rose to 354,982 and that of dead, to 12,349. The first confirmations took place in March 2020.
