I await confirmation by the PCR test, but I am already isolated, following the protocol and following my doctor’s instructions “, said Fernández on Twitter. On January 21, the Argentine president posted a photo of himself on Twitter in which he appeared receiving the Sputnik vaccine.

In today’s post, Fernández also said he had contacted the people he had met with in the past 48 hours to assess whether it would be necessary for them to remain in isolation as well.

“I am physically well and, even if I wanted to end my birthday day (yesterday, 2) without this news, I am also in good spirits,” continued the president on Twitter today. He also urged citizens to maintain care in the face of the pandemic.

“We must be very attentive. I ask everyone to preserve and follow the current recommendations. It is clear that the pandemic has not passed and we must continue to take care of ourselves,” he said.
