Vaccinated, president of Argentina has covid-19

Argentine President Alberto Fernández reported on Saturday (April 3, 2021) that he had contracted covid-19. He did an antigen test after showing symptoms such as fever and headache.

Fernández was the first president of Latin America to be vaccinated against the disease. He received his first dose of Sputnik V on January 21. Presidential aides told the newspaper Clarín that the representative has already received the 2nd dose.

“I wanted to say that at the end of today, after I registered a 37.3 fever and a mild headache, I had an antigen test that was positive”said Fernandez.

Fernández said that he is “physically well ” and of “good mood”.

“I would like to end my birthday without this news, I am also in a good mood. I thank you for the many demonstrations of affection you gave me today reminding me of my birth ”, stressed the president.

The agent, who turned 62 on Friday (2.20.2021), said that while waiting for confirmation of a PCR test, he is isolated, complying with the current protocol and following the instructions of his personal doctor.
