The Secretariat of Public Security reports that, as of this Monday (5), all active professionals from the Civil, Military and Technical-Scientific police, Fire Brigade, Penitentiary Agents, Metropolitan Civil Guards, Federal Police and Federal Highway Police operating in the State of São Paulo will be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

About 180 thousand doses of vaccine will be made available to agents in more than 70 units of the Military Police in the State. The objective of the measure is to avoid crowding in public health posts, where the vaccination campaign for the rest of the population continues.

Vaccination is exclusive to professionals active in institutions, with the exception of those who do not meet the medical criteria established by health authorities (pregnant women, lactating women, having had Covid for 30 days or less). To receive immunization against Covid-19, security professionals can register in advance at https://vacinaja.sp.gov.br. However, registration is not mandatory.
