There are 19 counties that you may not suspect and another 64 at risk – find out which ones are | Covid-19

The deflationary process will follow what was planned in the calendar presented by the Government on March 11th. All municipalities will suspect and, for example, on Monday the 2nd and 3rd cycle schools will reopen. But there are 19 counties in which more attention is needed, cautioned the Prime Minister, António Costa. If, in two successive assessments, the same counties are at the risk threshold, “measures of deflation must not be advanced” in these counties. With the data now available, these are the counties most at risk:

Between 120 and 240 cases:

According to António Costa, the assessment must take into account the different situation in the various regions of the country. “According to what the experts have proposed to us, we must take into account that if in two successive evaluations the same counties are above the risk threshold, in these counties the measures of deflation should not be advanced. At the moment, we have a total of 19 municipalities that are above the risk threshold, six of which, incidentally, above 240 new cases ”, said Costa.

As explained by the Prime Minister, if these municipalities remain in this situation in a second assessment, it means that the municipalities themselves, but also the surrounding municipalities, must “be subject to particular measures”. “We must be especially careful in these municipalities”, said António Costa.

There are 64 “surrounding” counties (marked in yellow on the map), among which are, for example, Bragança, Macedo de Cavaleiros, Mogadouro and Miranda do Douro, neighbors of Vimioso – a municipality that belongs to the list of 19 with more than 120 new cases per 100 thousand inhabitants in the last 14 days.
