This Thursday (1st) the campaign for vaccination for 69 year olds in Belo Horizonte. During the morning, as usual, the health posts gathered a large number of people, who had to wait outside in line to receive the dose of the immunizer.

The vaccination schedule at the health centers in Belo Horizonte and at the fixed stations from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The addresses can be found in this link. The drive-thru stations will operate from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. In all, there are six locations of the type that the target audience can attend and receive the immunization without having to leave the vehicle. The addresses are available on the PBH portal.

To receive the dose, the elderly need to have an identity document, CPF and proof of residence in hands, in addition to using the mask and respecting the distance in places. People in bed and with reduced mobility must register on the city hall website.

In the priority list, Belo Horizonte is vaccinating elderly people over 69 years old this Thursday (1st). As of this Friday (2/4), the queue moves forward and people in the age range of 68 begin and on Monday (5/4) the stations vaccinate from 67 years old.

This morning, there was a high demand for elderly people who were anxiously waiting to receive the immunizer. At the Centro de Sade Mantiqueira, in the Venda Nova region of BH, the report from the State of Minas found a queue at the unit’s door.

According to the professionals who work at these posts, the volume of people is higher in the morning, while the demand is low in the afternoon.


In Belo Horizonte, 273,171 people have already received the first dose of the vaccine until this Thursday (1/4), which represents 10.83% of the Belo Horizonte population. Of these, 97,760 received the second dose, that is, 3.88%.

So far, BH has received 437,220 doses of Coronavac from Instituto Butantan. Another 77,750 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 are from Astrazeneca, from Fundao Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz).
