According to the Public Security Secretariat, the cargo will be checked by Military Police teams at the headquarters of the Air Grouping (Graer) and taken in aircraft to cities in the metropolitan region and in the interior of the state.

This was the 11th batch of immunizers to arrive in Bahia since the vaccination process started in Brazil. The last cargo landed in the capital of Bahia on March 26, bringing 347 thousand doses.

This was also the shipment with the largest amount of doses in a single batch. With the arrival of this cargo, the state totals 2,993,550 doses received since January 18.

According to the latest bulletin published by the Secretariat of Health (Sesab), on Wednesday afternoon (31), Bahia registered 1,604,770 people vaccinated against Covid-19. Of this number, 314,432 received both doses of the immunizer and completed the immunization schedule.
