The number of people who recovered from SARS-CoV-2 infection in the Leiria region remains above new positive cases, which means that the number of active infections continues to fall.
Bombarral, Marinha Grande and Alcobaça are the counties that represent the majority of the 41 cases of recovery in the last 24 hours, which caused the number of active cases to drop to 281, 18 less than yesterday.
The data for the municipality of Bombarral were updated today, Thursday, with the municipality, since they presented a significant discrepancy in relation to the values presented in the daily balance sheet of the District Civil Protection Commission of Leiria.
This is, therefore, the municipality that today presents the largest number of new cases (18), followed by Marinha Grande (three cases), Alcobaça (three) and Peniche (two).
