BRASÍLIA – The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), said that the House will start discussing on Wednesday the possibility of the private sector acquiring doses of vaccines against Covid-19 for application in its employees and for donation of part of the total acquired to the Unified Health System (SUS).

In a statement to the press after attending a meeting of the committee to combat the pandemic, attended by President Jair Bolsonaro, President of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (DEM-MG), and Minister of Health, Marcelo Queiroga, Lira defended the need to expand vaccination in Brazil and said that a vaccinated Brazilian means one less person at risk because of the coronavirus.
