“This is the time to join forces and look for solutions to the many problems that we have faced because of the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases. Especially now, with this new strain, which has already proven to be much more transmissible, ”said Ratinho Junior.
The movement has already done a great deal of field research in the whole of Paraná, raising some needs of the 399 municipalities, with support from the State Government. Among the points, for example, it was found that 80 cities need more inputs and support in logistics for the application of vaccines, points that can be made possible by the private initiative and by the agility in acquisitions.
The State Department of Health has enough stock to meet the demands of cities in relation to essential items such as needles, syringes and masks, among others, but left the possibility of joining the private sector to complement the needs of the municipalities open with the delivery of thermometers and coolers, for example.
The study also revealed that half of the municipalities expressed a desire to expand the scope of communication, facilitating the orientation of the population regarding the importance of immunization. It was agreed to jointly develop campaigns and promotional materials that facilitate and amplify the need for vaccination and other health measures to prevent coronavirus.
“The vaccine is our hope. We launched the campaign from Sunday to Sunday and we have obtained excellent results, it is a success. The number of vaccinated people in the state has greatly increased, ”said the governor.
This week Paraná reached 1 million people vaccinated. This Wednesday (31), the Vaccinometer points to 1,083,289 first doses and 231,740 booster doses, completing the immunization.
MOVEMENT – The United for the Vaccine movement wants to facilitate the distribution of the immunizer against Covid-19 to all Brazilians by September. The idea is to support the Unified Health System (SUS) with logistics solutions and input purchases. The movement is coordinated by the Grupo Mulheres do Brasil, which has more than 75 thousand participants.
In Paraná, the project has the support of entities such as the Federation of Industries of Paraná (Fiep), the Commercial Association of Paraná (ACP), OAB-PR, the Federation of Commercial and Business Associations of the State of Paraná (Faciap) and the Ocepar System, between others.
