COVID-19 in Minas Gerais: see if your city will continue on the purple wave – Gerais

The government of Minas Gerais announced on Wednesday that 815 of the 853 mining towns will continue in the purple wave of the Minas Consciente program until at least April 11. As they showed a consistent improvement in the indicators of COVID-19, the other 38 locations can progress to the red phase from the next second. But what is the situation in your municipality? The waves’

The purple wave is the Minas Consciente phase, which has more restrictions on the circulation of people. The measure establishes, for example, a curfew from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am, prohibition of events in public or private spaces and veto face-to-face meetings, including people from the same family who do not cohabit.

The red wave allows the operation of all economic activities, as long as they comply with certain rules, such as distance and maximum limitation of people. Click here to access the detailed protocol.
