A cook from the municipal hospital of Rio Verde de Mato Grosso, in Mato Grosso do Sul, decided to write messages of support in the lunchboxes of patients undergoing treatment Covid-19. The information is from G1.
Rodrigo Monteiro, 32, says that he started leaving messages for a friend, and that she was the one who suggested that he do the same for other patients.
“I started writing on the lid of a lunchbox for a friend, sending messages of support and to show the importance that she has for me. It was at that moment that I saw that it brought an extra boost and she told me to do this with the patients ”, says Rodrigo to G1.
“In the beginning, there were two to three patients, but with the increase in the number of cases, I had to paste past ready-made messages, but I never bothered to write my name. I just wanted them to know that they were not alone, ”he says.
On the packaging, Rodrigo has written messages such as: “You are not alone. We are with you ”and“ May God restore your health soon. God is faithful and you are special ”.
In addition to the patients, Rodrigo says that he also started writing to employees who are dealing with loss of life in the hospital for the disease.
“I don’t know if I’ll be in their place tomorrow and, I’m sure, if I were in that situation, I would be very happy to receive messages like this”, says the cook.
