This Tuesday’s bulletin from the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) two deaths e 874 new cases of covid-19 in Portugal in the last 24 hours. There are even more 894 recovered.

The data presented today reflect the delay in integrating 599 positive laboratory reports that concern the weekend. In other words, of the 874 cases reported today, 599 refer to Saturday and Sunday.

This Tuesday they register again two deaths, as happened on the Tuesday of the previous week (a number of daily deaths that have not occurred since September 2).

As for the new cases, there are well above the values ​​of the day before (159), almost six times more, and also well above the infections registered just a week ago (388).

The total number of new infections on Tuesday is still more than double the average of the last seven days (396.8). In the two previous days, Sunday and Monday, 193 and 159 infected people had been registered, respectively, values ​​that only found a parallel in the month of last august.
