The municipality of Blumenau recorded the deaths of two education workers on behalf of Covid-19. Professor Olga Aparecida Krause Kopak, 41, and retired professor Nádia Regina Zen Angelli, 57.

During the morning, teacher Nádia died after five days hospitalized with the disease. In her career as a teacher, the blumenauense went through the Municipal Basic School Tiradentes and the Secretary of the Family – Pro-family, the servant retired in 2015. A few years ago, Nádia won a battle against breast cancer.

Olga, who worked at CEI Profa Elzira Hornburg, had been hospitalized since March 5 in an Intensive Care Unit in the city. On her social networks, she commented on waiting for the vaccination to arrive and published news about the pandemic. She leaves her husband and a daughter.

Note of regret

In a note, the “Blumenau City Hall mourns the death of two public servants who did not resist the complications of Covid-19 and died on Monday, April 5. The government is in solidarity with the bereaved families and deeply regrets the loss of the two professionals who worked for the Blumenau community ”.
