Rio Grande do Sul registers 101 new deaths by Covid-19 this Monday

This Monday, Rio Grande do Sul recorded 101 new deaths due to Covid-19. According to the State Department of Health (SES), deaths were recorded in 60 cities in the state. In all, 20,600 people have died from the disease in the state since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Secretariat also registered 906 new people infected by the coronavirus, in the last 24 hours, in 87 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul. With the data, the State totals 860,924 confirmed cases. Of these, 826,381 have already recovered, while 13,871 are undergoing medical follow-up.

In this second, the occupancy rate of ICU beds in general is 96.0%, with 3,253 patients in 3,387 ICU beds. As of today, 1,263,468 people have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine in the state. The second dose of the immunizer has already been applied to 311,140 gauchos.
