Juiz de Fora has 97% occupancy of public hospital ICU Covid beds

According to the bulletin of the City Hall of Juiz de Fora (PJF), published on Sunday (4), the municipality reached 97.30% of occupancy of the beds of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) exclusive for the treatment of Covid-19 of the Unified Health System (SUS). In the private network, the saturation of intensive care beds had a small retraction and reached 98.47%.

Municipal data indicate 622 simultaneous admissions due to Covid-19, seven hospitalizations less than was registered until Saturday (3). Of the total number of hospitalized patients, 382 people were undergoing treatment in the wards and 240 were in intensive care beds until the publication of the bulletin, which was released at 6:05 pm on Sunday.

As for the infirmary beds, the occupation was 93.51%. The percentage of units in the private network is not released by the Health Department. This Saturday’s document, as in the previous two days, did not bring any number of cases and deaths. Due to the holiday, the survey will be released again on Monday (5), according to the PJF.

Vaccination

The city also reported that 418 people were vaccinated on Sunday alone. The municipality reached 63,597 people applied with at least one dose. The number of people completely immunized (who have already had the application of two doses), is 16,899.
