Public security professionals begin to receive the vaccine against Covid-19 from this Monday (5) in Sorocaba. The action will take place from 8 am to 3 pm in the 7th Battalion of the Interior Military Police (BPMI) until this Tuesday (6).

Military, civilian and federal police officers will be immunized, in addition to firefighters and municipal civil guards, that is, professionals who are active. Vaccination will be done through a drive-thru system. All who will be immunized are already scheduled by the State Government.

2,232 doses of the Oxford vaccine (AstraZeneca) will be used, which were sent by the State Government directly to the 7th Battalion, therefore, these doses will be computed to the State in the balance of applied vaccines.
