Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S arrives in Brazil with electrification and 612 hp – 03/31/2021

In its second generation, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC + Coupé SUV was announced by the German automaker for the Brazilian market on Wednesday. Combining comfort and sportiness, the model has a small facelift compared to its predecessor. Its suggested price is R $ 1,184,900.

The car has a 4.0-liter AMG V8 combustion engine equipped with an EQ Boost starter alternator and a 48-volt electrical system. In this way, the vehicle immediately delivers the 612 hp available in its driving unit with a torque of 86.6 kgfm. Thus, the GLE – with its nine gears – is able to go from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds and reach up to 280 km / h.

On the outside, the SUV has a specific chrome AMG radiator grille, front bumper with dynamic “Jet-Wing” design painted in the vehicle’s color with black air intakes, 22-inch wheels, new rear spoiler with a black diffuser and special AMG exhaust system.

The vehicle also features AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL – which precisely compensates for body movements, increasing driving safety in situations close to the limits – and Comfort, Sport, Sport +, Individual, RACE, Trail and Sand driving modes on DYNAMIC SELECT.
