Free Market in Bahia
The first Free Market Distribution Center installed in Bahia has been in operation since last year in Lauro de Freitas, in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador.

The CD works on the Fullfilment model. In this modality, the Free Market becomes responsible for the entire logistical process of the purchase process, from the stock of products, to the post-sale. With this, the company no longer depends on third parties to make deliveries and intends to make orders reach customers faster. Whoever is from Salvador or RMS, for example, must receive the products on the same day or, at most, after 24h.

In addition, this new model promises faster deliveries to the entire Northeast region, which will also be included with free shipping on some products.

The installation of the new Distribution Center generated at least 500 jobs with its arrival in Bahia. The investment in the new equipment, which covers 56 thousand square meters, was approximately R $ 90 million. The company had institutional support from the Government of Bahia, through the Secretariats for Economic Development, Planning and Finance.
