According to TVI, several people who had been contacted to get the vaccine against the new virus were told they would take other vaccines.
“I was contacted yesterday to come to get the vaccine, I agreed, I asked which vaccine I was going to get and I was told it was Pfizer, but when I got here today I was told it was AstraZeneca’s and I decided to refuse,” user at the center door.
Speaking to the station channel, also near the center, another woman told the same situation: “I arrived here and it wasn’t Pfizer, it was the other one. It was AstraZeneca and I won’t take it because my doctor advised me not to take it “.
Another user reported the same episode and also added that one of the nurses told her that “she was not the first to refuse” and that many people had already denied the administration of that vaccine.
All users also guaranteed that, after having refused the vaccine, they were informed that they would be contacted again and not that they would move to the end of the country’s vaccination list, as established by the vaccination plan.
The miscommunication of the vaccines, in the first contact, must have occurred due to an error of those who made the call together with a lack of doses from Pfizer and Moderna in this vaccination center.
