Selvaag Bolig sold 274 homes for 1.4 billion in the first quarter. Adjusted for collaborative projects, these have a total value of NOK 1.24 billion

It is the best first quarter sales and the second best quarter sales in the company’s history, the report states.

– Sales were very good in the first quarter. There has been great demand in all the markets we operate, but especially in the outskirts of Oslo. This is due to the fact that we have good products in the right place, that there is a low mortgage rate and that too little is being built in Oslo, says CEO Sverre Molvik.

He says they have sold well in already initiated projects, and in addition had “successful sales starts”. Molvik says that there has been a particularly high demand for “Pluss homes” which are homes with common areas and services.

Net sales in the corresponding quarter in 2020 were 164 homes with a total value of NOK 840 million, and gross sales were 196 homes for NOK 1,031 million.
