New BMW M3 arrives in Brazil in two versions from R $ 757,950

Approximately 6 months after debuting in Europe, the new generation of the BMW M3 is officially launched in Brazil. The brand had already confirmed the arrival of the sports sedan to the national market since March and now announces that the first units should land in May. The model will be offered in two versions: Competition, with a suggested price of R $ 757,950, and Competition Track, at a price of R $ 849,950.

After the sales of these units, the other orders can be customized and also made to order. Under the hood, the 3.0 TwinPower Turbo S58 inline 6-cylinder engine is the same in both variants. It delivers 510 horsepower and 66.3 kgfm of torque, being able to accelerate the sedan from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km / h. The transmission is always automatic M Steptronic with 8 gears.

The suspension is adaptive signed by M, with electronically controlled dampers. Even the axles are specific to the sports division’s models, as well as the variable electric steering and the brake system with two different configurations. The tweezers are painted in metallic blue, but there are options in black or red; all with the M logo.

In the M3 Competition, the brakes consist of double ventilated and perforated discs of 380 mm x 36 mm in the front axle and 370 mm x 24 mm in the rear, calipers with 6 pistons in the front and 1 piston in the rear. In the M3 Competition Track version, there are double ventilated and perforated carbon-ceramic discs with 400 mm x 38 mm in the front axle and 380 mm x 36 mm in the rear, golden calipers with 6 pistons in the front and 1 piston in the rear.

In addition to the carbon-ceramic brakes, the Track version offers shell seats with carbon fiber structure, carbon fiber exterior mirror covers, carbon fiber airfoil, carbon fiber bumper covers, black wheels , semi-slick tires and M Shadow Line headlights.

In the cabin, screens with specific displays of the M line and the M button with shortcut for various engine, suspension, steering and braking settings are noteworthy. Two individually configurable modes are available, in addition to Road, Sport and Track. An M Drive Professional data analysis system improves the experience on the tracks.

The models are available in the following colors: Alpine White, Sapphire Black, Portimao Blue, São Paulo Yellow, Brooklyn Gray, Isle of Man Green and Toronto Red, with Merino leather coating in Black, Yas Marina Blue with Black, Silverstone with Black, Orange Kyalami with Black.
