The line is available with four body color options – Concrete Gray, Onix Black, Lucid Red and Fuji White. The front exchanges the chrome finish of the rest of the range with parts painted in glossy black, while the front grille and bumper details bring a carbon finish, while the bottom of the front shows a spoiler with the central frame in silver. The sporting theme follows the sides, with the 18-inch alloy wheels in shiny black and paved with 225/55 R18 tires. The set shows the brake calipers, which in the Eclipse Cross Sport are painted red.
Behind it, the airfoil and skid plate painted in shiny black stand out. Another detail is the lanterns with dark smoke-like edges that run through the entire lid, dividing the rear window. The central bar has a carbon-like finish, and the final touch is with the pieces in matte silver that simulate tips at the ends of the bumper.
The special Eclipse Cross Sport series also includes an equipment package that includes TPMS (tire pressure sensor), rain and light sensors, ABS, BAS, BOS, HSA (ramp start assistant) brake systems. , traction and stability controls (ASC + ATC), reverse camera, Full Airbags system, LED DRL on the headlights and fog lights.
Like the other vehicles in the Eclipse Cross line, the special Sport series is equipped with a double injection MIVEC Turbo 1.5L engine, 165 hp of power and 25.5 kgfm of torque.
There is also the optional Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC), a dynamic control system integrated with 4WD traction, which guarantees safe running on any type of floor. With an electromagnetic coupling, the system automatically controls the torque distribution between the front and rear axles. In the system, the driver can choose between three driving modes: AUTO, SNOW or GRAVEL.
