The Epidemiological Bulletin of the Secretary of State for Health (Sesau), this Saturday (03/04), confirms 991 more new cases of Covid-19 in Alagoas. Thus, the state has a total of 155,810 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus to date, of which 3,697 are in isolation at home. Another 147,703 patients have already completed the isolation period, have no more symptoms and, therefore, are recovered from the disease. There are 10,560 cases under laboratory investigation. 22 deaths were recorded in Alagoas territory. As a result, Alagoas has 3,620 deaths from Covid-19.

The confirmed cases of people with Covid-19 are distributed in 102 municipalities in Alagoas. Regarding the total number of deaths in Alagoas, 3,620 deaths are confirmed by Covid-19, but eight of them were from people living in Pernambuco, São Paulo, Santa Catarina and Bahia, with six men and two women as victims. Of the 3,612 deaths of people residing in Alagoas, 2,022 were male and 1,590 female. There were 1,639 people residing in Maceió and the other 1,973 lived in the interior of the state, according to Sesau’s Center for Strategic Health Surveillance (Cievs).

Deaths – In the bulletin of this Saturday (03/04), more 22 deaths were confirmed, laboratory, because of the new coronavirus, being 11 victims of the capital of Alagoas and 11 of the interior of the State. The victims of Maceió were six men aged 46, 55, 66, 73, 82 and 93 and five women aged 53, 59, 76, 78 and 82 years old.

The 46-year-old man was obese and died at the Women’s Hospital (HM), in Maceió; the 55-year-old man had chronic kidney disease, was obese and died at the Hospital Geral do Estado (HGE), in Maceió; the 66-year-old man had chronic cardiovascular disease, diabetes and died at Arthur Ramos Hospital, in Maceió; the 73-year-old man had no comorbidities and also died at the Arthur Ramos Hospital, in Maceió; the 82-year-old man had no comorbidities and died at the Hospital Geral do Estado (HGE), in Maceió; the 93-year-old man was a cardiac patient, had chronic respiratory disease and died at the Metropolitan Hospital of Alagoas (HMA), in Maceió; the 53-year-old woman was cardiac, obese, diabetic and also died at the Metropolitan Hospital of Alagoas (HMA), in Maceió; the 59-year-old woman was hypertensive, diabetic and died at the Hospital da Mulher (HM), in Maceió; the 76-year-old woman was hypertensive and died at the Metropolitan Hospital of Alagoas (HMA), in Maceió; the 78-year-old woman had chronic cardiovascular disease, diabetes and died at the Metropolitan Hospital of Alagoas (HMA), in Maceió; and the 82-year-old woman had chronic cardiovascular disease, diabetes and died at Hospital Geral do Estado (HGE), in Maceió.

Regarding the 11 victims who lived in the interior of the State, there were nine men aged 16, 36, 49, 54, 66, 69, 78, 81 and 84 years old and two women aged 74 and 88 years old. The 16-year-old, lived in Marechal Deodoro, had no comorbidities and died at the Hospital Geral do Estado (HGE), in Maceió; the 36-year-old man was from Santana do Ipanema, had diabetes and died at Hospital Clodolfo Rodrigues, in Santana do Ipanema; the 49-year-old man lived in Arapiraca, had hypertension, diabetes and died at the Regional Hospital of Arapiraca; the 54-year-old man lived in Teotônio Vilela, had obesity, hypertension and died at the Hospital da Mulher (HM), in Maceió; the 66-year-old man lived in Maragogi, had no comorbidities and died at the Metropolitan Hospital of Alagoas (HMA), in Maceió; the 69-year-old man lived in Arapiraca, had hypertension, diabetes and died at Hospital Chama, in Arapiraca; the 78-year-old man resided in Maragogi, had diabetes and died at the Women’s Hospital (HM), in Maceió; the 81-year-old man lived in Joaquim Gomes, had cardiovascular disease, sequelae of a stroke, chronic respiratory disease and died at the Hospital da Mulher (HM), in Maceió; the 84-year-old man lived in Atalaia, had hypertension, diabetes and also died at the Hospital da Mulher (HM), in Maceió; the 74-year-old woman lived in Carneiros, had no comorbidities and died at the Emergency Hospital of Agreste (HEA), in Arapiraca; and the 88-year-old woman lived in Arapiraca, was hypertensive and died at the Regional Hospital of Arapiraca.

Covid-19 Beds of the State – Of the 1,338 beds created by the State Department of Health (Sesau) to exclusively serve patients with suspected and confirmed infection with the new coronavirus, 793 were occupied until 4 pm on Friday (02 / 04), which corresponds to 59% of the total. Currently, 325 patients are in ICU beds, 15 occupying intermediate beds and 453 in nursing beds.
