– We have arrested a woman somewhere other than Ystehede. We have control over several people, but do not want to say anything more about the details now, says police task leader Remi Kopperud to Halden Arbeiderblad.

– We have more or less ended the actual action on Ystehede now, he adds.

One helicopter, at least five police cars and dogs were involved in the hunt for the woman who was believed to be in her 60s. An area towards Skriverøya was cordoned off.

– Then the police have control of probably the right lady that has been searched for, the Police in the east writes on

just before 20 Easter Eve.

The woman escaped to the woods when the police on Saturday afternoon tried to check the car she was in. The check was made on the basis of a tip about handing over a bag at Elgåfossen on the Swedish border.

– The car has been found and two people have been arrested under the Customs Act, but we are missing one person: A lady who is probably in her early 60s, said operations manager Svein Walle earlier to VG.

The bag has been found, according to police.
