New US shooting leaves 3 dead and 4 injured in Wilmington

Three people died and four were injured in a shootout early in the morning on Saturday (3) in Wilmington, North Carolina. The information was released by the local police.

News of the shooting was received around midnight on Saturday. According to Lieutenant Irving, commander of the Wilmington Police Department’s guard. a home party was taking place on site before the shots were fired.

According to police information, police officers who responded to the call found seven victims at the scene, three of whom have already died. Investigators are still working at the crime scene near 7th Street and Kidder Street. The agents try to identify the suspects.

There is no person in custody and the police are unaware of the reasons that would have led to the shooting. Commander Irving said the general public was not in danger.

The conditions of the victims who survived the attack and suffered injuries are still unknown at this time. The names of the dead will be released as soon as families and close relatives are notified, police said.
