All material was subjected to examination for the detection of blood traces, using luminol (high sensitivity method) and all results were negative.
The material has been preserved for future DNA testing, if necessary.

On Thursday (1), the police made a simulated reproduction of the death of the boy Henry Borel, 4 years old. Police officers left the apartment late in the afternoon without speaking to journalists.
According to the boy’s mother, Monique Medeiros, and his stepfather, alderman Dr. Jairinho, Henry was found unconscious in the couple’s apartment in Barra da Tijuca and taken to the hospital on the 8th. A report obtained by TV Globo showed that the boy already arrived dead at the health unit.
In the reproduction of the case this Thursday, the police used a doll similar to the child. As Dr. Jairinho and Monique did not attend the reenactment, police officers will represent the couple based on the statements made to the police.
Before the procedure, the couple’s defense asked the deputy Henrique Damasceno, from the 16th DP (Barra da Tijuca), that the simulation be postponed until the 12th because, according to the lawyer, Monique was suffering from depression. The request, however, was denied.
