Last year was a very special season for Formula 1 because the pandemic forced the entire calendar to change. Even so, Formula 1 has shown that it can act fast and that there are enough circuits to organize a race in a reasonable time. This year is still doing reasonably well compared to last year. Since the launch of the official calendar, no GP has been canceled.
This dubious honor may possibly go to Canada. Motorsport-Total reported that there are uncertainties due to the quarantine regulations that are currently in effect in Canada. Furthermore, it is logistically a big challenge because a week before F1 was racing in Baku.
If the race in Canada does not happen, it is rumored that Turkey, just like last year, would be an option. The race would be held again at the Istanbul circuit. Last year the race was a great sensation because of the extremely slippery asphalt.
