The IPMA predicts from today and at least until Sunday on the continent, showers that may be strong and accompanied by thunderstorms.
The forecast also points to a generally weak wind from the south quadrant, being temporarily moderate in the Algarve until mid-afternoon and sometimes strong in the highlands.
Morning fog or fog is also expected in the central and southern regions, a small rise in the minimum temperature and a decrease in the maximum temperature, except in the interior of the northern region.
The minimum temperatures on the continent will vary between 7 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) and 16 (in Faro) and the maximum between 16 (in Guarda) and 25 (in Santarém and Leiria).
The district of Faro will be under yellow warning between 06:00 and 18:00 today due to the forecast of maritime unrest, with southeast waves of 2 to 2.5 meters, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA ).
According to the IPMA, the yellow warning is issued whenever there is a risk for certain activities depending on the weather situation.
