Matheus Babi’s destiny should no longer be changing colors in Rio de Janeiro. Fluminense retreated towards hiring the attacker, as “UOL” and LANCE! confirmed. Without financial resources, Tricolor lost the “arm wrestling” with Athletico Paranaense, who has a free path to negotiate with shirt 11.

Matheus Babi and Serra Macaense, owner of the player’s federative rights, had liked the proposal of the two teams. Fluminense, however, failed to reach an agreement with Botafogo: Tricolor offered a list of players, Alvinegro was interested in Yuri and Frazan, but the negative repercussion in the networks weighed for a setback.

Thus, Botafogo only asked for financial compensation for Fluminense, something outside the current reality of the Laranjeiras club, which would bear the cost of the transfer in installments. In return, Athletico Paranaense will bear the negotiation with a cash payment.

Without Fluminense in the move, Athletico Paranaense is sovereign in the move and is the only one to negotiate with Botafogo and Serra Macaense for Matheus Babi. It is in the interest of all parties that the transfer takes place as soon as possible.

The Hurricane’s proposal is 1.2 million euros for 60% of the economic rights (R $ 8 million, at the current price), which will be divided proportionately between Botafogo – which has 40% showcases – and Serra Macaense. Alvinegro would still retain 10% of the athlete’s economic rights in the event of a future transfer.
