Curfew is suspended in Minas Gerais until at least Wednesday

Popularly called the “curfew”, the restriction on the movement of people between 8 pm and 5 am in the cities affected by the purple wave of the Minas Consciente program is suspended. The decision will be valid at least until next Wednesday (7) and the construction of an agreement was built this Monday between the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais (TJMG) and the State Government. The suspension of the two restrictive measures imposed on Minas Gerais municipalities classified in the purple wave of the Minas Consciente happens after the approval of a lawsuit filed by state deputy Bruno Engler (PRTB). “The home is inviolable. Thus, the suspension was agreed until next Wednesday, when there will be another meeting of the state committee to confront Covid-19. The deputy, however, does not rule out appealing to the Judiciary again if the two measures are resumed. According to O Tempo, the meeting that sewed the agreement took place on Monday afternoon without the presence of Governor Romeu Zema (Novo), represented by the Secretary-General of the Government, Mateus Simões (Novo).

Also according to the newspaper, at lunchtime, there was a meeting of Gilson Lemos, president of the TJMG, with the high level of the Government.
