Zmar guarantees that he will continue to operate despite his owner’s insolvency – Turismo & Lazer

Declared insolvent by the court of Beja, court of Odemira, Zmar guarantees that it will continue to function.”The insolvency of Multiparques A Céu Aberto will not harm Zmar’s activity”, assured the Business official source of the tourist enterprise, near Zambujeira do Mar.
Ecoresort is, at this stage, “temporarily” closed, “due to restrictions in the context of the covid-19 pandemic”, but will be reopened.

The same source says that “the reopening of the Zmar is scheduled for soon, complying with all the hygiene and safety rules of the DGS to receive its guests on their usual holidays on the Costa Vicentina”.

The owner and manager of the project – called Multiparques A Céu Aberto – was declared insolvent in March, and now the deadline for creditors to present themselves in the event of insolvency has passed, just as the Business has advanced.

Multiparques is owned by the Ares Lusitani fund, which requested its insolvency, and by Francisco Mello Breyner, who already had all of Multiparques, but who, as reported by Business, became the holder of the remaining 43.4%. Ares took 56.6% of Multiparques.
